MACHA GOURFINKEL BIOGRAPHY

MACHA GOURFINKEL was born in 1971 in the USSR. She was graduate from the academy of Arts of Moscow. She moved to Paris in the early nineties, developped her own style practicing portraits and drawing interesting views from Paris, french contryside and also seaside. She had some exhibitions in Paris and in different french cities. After few years, she went to St Petersburg and then back to France for another several years. She's now living in Moscow with her husband and two kids.

The different places she's been living in and life experiences has obviously influenced her painting during the past decades. However, her artwork is remarquable by the way she uses the painting material and specially her unique portrait technicity.
